Financial Reporting Manager Opportunity

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Mount Forest. As a key member of our Financial Reporting & Insights Group, you will be responsible for supervising the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and providing technical and project management leadership skills to team members.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and complete working paper files, financial statements, and corporate and personal tax returns as needed
  • Provide technical and project management leadership skills to team members for Accounting projects and engagements
  • Assist in the direction and training of staff, reviewing completed files to ensure quality of work
  • Prioritize projects, establish budgets, and assign staff to meet client deadlines
  • Maintain a positive client relationship and identify possible new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Participate in delivering formal project/team performance review and/or giving effective input to reviewers on team members
