Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement user-centric, intuitive, responsive, and mobile-friendly web applications.
  • Develop and optimize applications to enhance user experience and improve performance.
  • Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
  • Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems that arise during the use and operation of software packages.
  • Review and analyze code to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends to ensure our applications remain competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience in building responsible and accessible solutions that meet WCAG standards.
  • Experience with Cloud-based solutions, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Docker, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or any equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging I&IT trends, operational methods, and technologies.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Ontario Digital Service Standards and Ontario Design System.
  • Experience with Siebel Open UI.
  • Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
  • Experience with middleware and gateways.
Cloud-based Solutions:
  • Experience with Cloud-based solutions, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Docker, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or any equivalent tools.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Ability to identify, assess, and implement IT solutions to meet complex requirements.
  • Ability to ensure the application of best practices for technology design, development, deployment, and operation.
