The Captain's Boil seeks a highly skilled Senior Culinary Specialist to lead our kitchen team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus that cater to diverse tastes and preferences, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our kitchen standards.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to minimize waste and optimize kitchen operations.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, maintaining open communication with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with staff accommodation provided.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
