We are seeking a skilled Line and Prep Cook to join our team at Fernie Alpine Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to resort F&B specifications and following kitchen systems and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to resort F&B specifications
  • Follow kitchen's systems & principles
  • Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
  • Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
  • Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
  • Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  • Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs

Requirements:

  • Previous cook and food preparation experience required
  • Cook training certification or equivalent an asset
  • Food safe certification an asset, may be obtained upon hire
  • A willingness to learn new skills and have a positive attitude
