Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our Studio team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead and mentor teams of dedicated engineers to build scalable and reliable applications. Your expertise in React, Redux, and Node.js will be instrumental in creating beautiful and interactive web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor teams of engineers to build high-performance applications.
  • Design and develop scalable and reliable web applications using React, Redux, and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and Product Designer to break down complex problems into achievable chunks.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on your team.
  • Ensure technical rigor and uphold high standards on your team.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of overall development experience, including at least two years of leading and mentoring other engineers.
  • Experience working with React, Node.js, and Redux.
  • Experience with FFmpeg or similar muxing applications.
  • Experience in transcoding live video/audio for real-time streaming.
  • Experience with relational and document databases.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
