Transportation Operations Manager

At CANADA INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, and managing a team of transportation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and optimize daily transportation operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Plan and organize transportation schedules, routes, and logistics to meet customer demands.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for transportation and inventory management.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of transportation staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage transportation budgets and finances to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of transportation operations with other business functions.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, laws, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and partners to negotiate rates and services.
- Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- 1-2 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
