Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: AME Mechanic
Job Summary:
AAA Canada is seeking an experienced AME Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and engines, performing repairs, replacements, and adjustments in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on aircraft and engines to ensure airworthiness.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments as required, following approved maintenance procedures.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions to ensure accurate and safe maintenance practices.
- Collaborate with production managers and lead hands to prioritize and complete work assignments.
- Ensure all work is done in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company policies.
- Verify and record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair.
- Install, rig, and test mechanical components in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited trade institution with a Mechanics background.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Mechanics-related general aircraft assembly, fabrication, installation.
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Twin Otter aircraft and system is considered an asset.
- Valid M1 or M2 license is considered an asset.
