Job Summary: We are seeking a part-time French language instructor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

About the Role: As a French language instructor, you will work directly with students to help them develop their language skills and build their confidence. You will be responsible for teaching up to 3 students at a time, following our proprietary methodologies and philosophies, and providing feedback to students and parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach French language classes to students of varying levels
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Communicate with parents and students to ensure a positive learning experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve teaching skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time position, approximately 10-15 hours per week
  • Evening and Saturday shifts available
  • Must be able to commute to our location
