Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Matthew Pekofsky. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a loving and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, and patience
