We use best-in-class technology to automate the preparation and verification of multi-dose compliance packaging of medication, ensuring the highest levels of safety and adherence for individuals with complex medication regimes.
Your Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at CareRx, you will collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, and timely. You will complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures, consult with the pharmacy management team when needed, and provide exceptional customer care to seniors homes and retirement communities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing

- Consult with the pharmacy management team when needed
- Provide exceptional customer care to seniors homes and retirement communities
- Maintain accurate and organized resident health records
- Follow provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
- Participate in training and support for newly hired and existing pharmacy team members
- Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT)
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with other members of the healthcare team
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
- Demonstrated high level of fluency in both written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in critical thought processes and able to prioritize appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kroll
- Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC)
- Experience with Med e-care
- Experience with PACMed/PACVision
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office programs
- Understanding of provincial regulations governing LTC homes and Retirement Communities
