The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts in conformance to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment

The Framer-Carpenter will work in a noisy and dusty construction environment. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as handling heavy loads. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.

Requirements
  • Accurate and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
