Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and SunnyHill Health Centre. As a Physiotherapist II, you will be responsible for providing advanced physiotherapy assessments and treatment programs for clients/patients with complex developmental behavioural conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using advanced clinical reasoning and skill to identify client/patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs to address client/patient goals and objectives.
- Document client/patient information, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients/patients and their families.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in physiotherapy, with a focus on complex developmental behavioural conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
