**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who have experienced mental health and substance use challenges.
The Psychosocial Support Worker will provide direct and indirect support to residents, encouraging housing stability. This includes medication administration, apartment checks, implementation of pest management protocols, community events, meal programs, and other supports as necessary.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide direct and indirect support to residents
- Attend trainings on recovery, psychiatric rehabilitation, trauma, supported employment practices, substance use, and cultural competency
- Assist tenants in gaining access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, residential, financial, and other services
- Connect tenants to community resources and peer supports
The successful candidate will be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships, have a genuine interest in supporting people living with mental illness, work independently, and have strong problem-solving skills.
