Job Title: Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to work closely with our Customer Focused Team and contribute to the commissioning, validation, sustaining, and support of customer-supplied and Creation-designed test systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customer test teams to establish optimal production test strategies
  • Implement Design for Test (DFT) philosophy and ensure exceptional test procedures and documentation
  • Work with fixture developers and suppliers to procure test equipment and communicate with customers, suppliers, and technical support teams to resolve test issues
  • Troubleshoot and debug test system hardware and software, maintain, upgrade, and repair test systems and fixtures
  • Develop and revision-control test system documentation, commission and validate test systems for functionality, performance, and test coverage
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support for production test teams and support continuous improvement of manufacturing test systems
  • Participate in Quality Assurance meetings and help investigate test-related issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing test environment
  • Sound fundamental knowledge of digital and analog circuitry
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in test and measurement instrumentation, including analog, digital, and RF
  • Proficient in standard test equipment such as Oscilloscopes and Function Generators
  • Working knowledge of In-circuit Test, Boundary Scan, and Flying Probe
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, debug of test systems using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies
  • Solid technical documentation abilities, able to understand and create electrical schematic diagrams
  • Able to gather technical data, compile information, and provide recommendations
What We Offer:

Creation Technologies is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. We offer a competitive salary range of $73,000-$83,000 CAD in our Canadian location, a shift differential may also be provided depending on the work hours. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits.
