Job Description and Responsibilities

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson HVAC to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all HVAC equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently deliver professional, engaging, and friendly service to our guests.
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Perform all HVAC-related trade work, including installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with federal and provincial codes and regulations.
  • Train and assist shift maintenance colleagues as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with both guests and colleagues.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A high school and/or technical school education.
  • A provincial Journeyperson's certificate for the Province of Alberta.
  • Background experience or general knowledge of the HVAC trade.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid Alberta driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
