Job Title: Food Service Operations Manager

Pita Land is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of quality in our food and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback as needed
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient service
  • Recruit and train staff to meet the needs of the restaurant
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Supervise staff and ensure that they are following company policies and procedures
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
  • Cost products and services to ensure profitability
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers
  • Leading/instructing individuals to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide customer service to ensure that customers have a positive experience
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Accounting software
  • Point of sale system
  • Spreadsheet
Work Environment:

The Food Service Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
