Ergonomist Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ergonomic Solutions Specialist to join our team at ErgoPrime Inc. in Ottawa/Gatineau. As an Ergonomic Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive ergonomic assessments, customized solutions, and training to enhance the health and productivity of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement customized ergonomic solutions to address client needs.
• Provide training and education to clients on ergonomic best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize ergonomic risks and opportunities.
• Conduct physical demands analysis (PDA) and return-to-work assessments.
• Assist with business development activities, including marketing and proposal development.

Requirements:

• University degree in ergonomics or a related field (e.g., kinesiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, occupational health nursing).
• Registered and in good standing with a professional association/college.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing ergonomist.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in French and English languages.
• Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MSTeams.
• A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.
