Job Description

The Analyst will be responsible for various tasks, including review and screening of potential acquisitions opportunities, financial modeling and underwriting of new investment opportunities and existing investments, creation of investment materials for investor approval during acquisition, management of the acquisitions pipeline report, and performance of market research on supply/demand fundamentals, economic trends, comparable sales and lease transactions, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related experience in real estate.
  • Post-secondary degree in either business or a quantitative discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required (will be tested) as well as PowerPoint.
  • Enjoys working in a busy environment and can demonstrate high level of creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and able to build relationships with stakeholders quickly, as well the ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale both verbally and in written form.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to stay detailed orientated while juggling multiple projects.
  • Good understanding of key real estate value drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take direction.
  • Experience with AE is considered an asset.
