We are seeking a skilled Log Loader Operator to join our team at Western Forest Products. As a key member of our forest operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating log loaders to meet production targets.
Responsibilities- Operate log loaders to load logs onto trucks for transportation to our mills.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
- 2 years of experience in a related field, such as heavy equipment operation or forestry.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
