About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Listowel Physiotherapy & Health Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer hearing tests and instruct patients on procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Carry out treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend hearing instruments, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress and process files and paperwork.
Requirements
  • Licensure by a provincial/territorial regulatory body for Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
