Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Steinbach. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, direct intervention, consultation, and education to children and/or adult populations in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email/outlook
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays. A valid Class 5 driver's license and liability insurance are also required.
