We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacovigilance Associate to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Pharmacovigilance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our patients by monitoring and managing adverse event reports.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, scan, and document clinical information in compliance with SOPs and applicable legislation
- Address medical inquiries using approved FAQs and provide accurate information to internal and external clients
- Review patient information in databases and ensure accurate documentation as per client needs
- Attach post-infusion reports to databases to ensure proper documentation for patient assistance and drug safety program needs
- Data entry into program-specific databases
- Sorting and filing of incoming faxes and documents
- Perform quality checks on adverse event reports as directed by work instructions
- Assist with and/or perform source data verification checks
- Minimum college-level education required; a diploma or degree with a concentration in Life Sciences is a strong asset
- Experience in Medical Information, Clinical Research, or Drug Safety, or equivalent experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical fields is a strong asset
- Knowledge of Pharmacovigilance industry guidelines, including Health Canada, US FDA, EMEA, and ICH
- Adaptability to change and ability to learn new skills as required
- Experience in the medical and/or pharmaceutical field(s), medical terminology is an asset
- Bilingual, English/French is an asset
