The Senior Companion provides companionship and support services to clients in their residence, following an established plan of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide companionship and social interaction, including playing games, watching TV, and engaging in conversations.
- Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and assist with daily living activities.
- Assist with medication management for clients who self-administer medications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience as a homemaker or companion is an asset.
- Must pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle or transportation.
