About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our team at Silvana Family Clothing Department Store Inc. As a key member of our fashion team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garments and alterations that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Garment Alterations: Fit, alter, and repair garments as required to ensure a perfect fit for our customers.
  • Sewing and Embroidery: Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create new garments or repair existing ones.
  • Quality Control: Inspect garments for quality and accuracy to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish is an asset.
  • Work Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the fashion industry is preferred.
  • Physical Abilities: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors are essential.
Working Conditions
