Centraprise is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new and existing products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new and existing products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and designers) to understand requirements and define quality goals
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using Azure Devops
  • Participate in deployments as needed
  • Communicating test results and status reports in an agile environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years applicable experience in QA Support for a Software-as-a-Service platform
  • Validating the web applications and backend systems meet requirements and design specifications
  • Reviewing functional business requirements and design specifications to ensure understanding of deliverables such as test strategy, test plans and test cases
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining test cases and other test artifacts like test data
  • Well versed in SQL & API testing with tools like postman
  • Executing and evaluating manual or automated test cases and report test results
  • Publishing and communicating test results and test plan statuses using established processes
  • Working closely/collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Dev, Management, Operations)
  • Providing estimates for test efforts
  • Strong communication skills; discussing complex technical concepts to engineers and non-engineers
  • Experience with Git version control system
  • Agile software development principles
