As a Bar Supervisor with Bartending Expertise at SAM Productions Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar area, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, and contributing to the success of our hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Talent Management: Hire and dismiss staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide recommendations on wine and drink selections to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Payment and Inventory Management: Collect cash, credit, or debit payments, and maintain accurate records of beverage sales and inventory.
  • Compliance and Safety: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring a safe and responsible environment for customers and staff.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with serving staff, management, and other departments to achieve business objectives.
Certifications and Requirements:
  • Serving It Right Certificate: Possess a valid Serving It Right Certificate to ensure compliance with liquor legislation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high-energy customers.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving easily between the bar, storage areas, and customer service zones.
