Job Title: Mechanic - Small Engines and Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Small Engines and Equipment Specialist to join our team at Equipment North Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with small engines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors
  • Discuss work with supervisor and document inspections and tests made on engines and motors
  • Estimate repair costs and adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye co-ordination
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus
  • Reliability, team player, and organized
