Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at ADP Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Valid passport
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Steel-toed safety boots
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work overtime and handle heavy loads.
