Job Description:

The Financial Operations Specialist is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis for a two-month contract. This position is 100% in-office and plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of financial transactions while a team member is on leave. Candidates with strong experience in Great Plains Dynamics and at least two years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:
- Processing trade accounts payable, miscellaneous invoicing, and cash deposits for AMA and associated entities.
- Reviewing account coding, calculations, and GST treatment on purchase orders and invoices, following up with individuals as required.
- Coordinating the weekly accounts payable process, ensuring invoices and purchase orders comply with AMA's signing authority policy and are processed accurately and on time.
- Posting deposits against outstanding invoices weekly.
- Preparing bank deposit slips and forwarding them to the bank.
- Following up on overdue accounts receivable invoices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Strong proficiency in Great Plains Dynamics is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be available to work on-site throughout the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:
