Heavy Equipment Technician Position for GR Roadline

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at GR Roadline. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and other equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions on heavy trucks, including emission control systems.
- Order parts and maintain inventory to ensure efficient workflow.
- Keep accurate maintenance reports and documentation, recording all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field, such as diesel mechanics.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, with equivalent experience also considered.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with computerized testing equipment and diagnostic software.
