Welder Job Description

At CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR, we are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints to ensure accurate execution
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and metal shaping machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Work Environment

As a Welder at CO-UP AUTO BODY REPAIR, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
