Strategic Sales Director

The Vice President of Sales is a key leadership position responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion at Graham Packaging Company. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading high-performing sales teams, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement sales plans that align with company goals and objectives, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Lead Sales Team: Manage and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions and drive sales growth.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to win new customers and expand existing relationships.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team performance, providing regular reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of sales experience, with 5+ years in executive-level sales management; proven track record of success in sales leadership and team management.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop high-performing sales teams; excellent business acumen, with ability to analyze data and drive business decisions; proficiency in MS Office and sales management tools.
The standard compensation for this role is $256,700 - $303,300, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, as well as participation in the company's 401K Employee Saving Plan and Employee Wellness Program.
