Job Description:

We're looking for a talented Business Partnership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business partnerships with retailers and distribution partners. This will involve developing short- and long-term business plans and budgets, actively negotiating with sales partners, and managing successful execution of all programs to ensure achievement of sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets as set by management
  • Lead and manage relationship with National Retailers on behalf of Bell, supporting Bell, Virgin, Lucky Mobile, and Bell Residential products and services
  • Develop short- and long-term business plans to support organizational objectives
  • Manage a budget that includes promotional expense, compensation, and A/R functions
  • Develop, launch, and evaluate retailer-exclusive programs, working closely with internal Bell teams (Campaign, training) to leverage each retailer's assets
  • Work closely with Regional Field Sales teams to communicate and gain support for retail-specific programs, ensuring successful execution of all programs at field level
  • Proactively identify regional trends and associated requirements
  • Analyze sales and business metrics and build associated action plans
  • Confidence and comfort in communicating with senior management
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education in business or a related discipline and equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of National Account Management and Category Management experience
  • Proven ability to successfully manage key accounts, develop sales strategies, and achieve revenue growth in competitive markets
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience in developing and delivering client- and executive-facing presentations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and leverage business acumen to resolve issues
  • Telco industry experience is an asset
