About the Opportunity

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Senior Insurance Specialist to join our team. As an experienced professional in the insurance industry, you will play a crucial role in providing integrated life insurance planning and advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect with clients to understand their life events and offer comprehensive insurance and financial advice
  • Promote a client-first mindset by meeting clients at their convenience
  • Develop and deepen client relationships using Salesforce and other compliant customer tools
  • Contribute to team sales success through individual sales goals
  • Increase external networks by capitalizing on market opportunities and referrals
  • Regularly review business results and adjust activities to meet targets

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent
  • Business development and prospecting skills with a goal-oriented attitude
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Life/A&S License (HLLQP/LLQP) or willingness to complete before start date
  • 1-2+ years' professional sales experience in the insurance industry
  • An existing network of referrals and approved centers of influence
  • Digital literacy using various systems and tools
