Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Manager to join our team at Pineview Cold Beer & Liquor Store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to handle customer inquiries and sales.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of our store and customers.
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records.
- Order merchandise and maintain a high level of inventory management.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the store is always fully stocked.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that the store runs smoothly.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
- Client focus to provide excellent customer service.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Reliability to maintain a high level of attendance and punctuality.
- Team player to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Work Term: Permanent and able to commit to this role.
- Work Language: English and able to communicate effectively in this language.
