Job Title: Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic

Gorilla Transport is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As an Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting experienced technicians in the repair and maintenance of commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues with commercial transport trucks and automotive systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Assist in the estimation of parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced technicians. The work will involve standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
