About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Budget Renovations Limited. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Selection and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and other materials as needed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure the integrity of the finished product.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials, and prepare floors for installations, including removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
