Job Description

The Senior Manager, Sanctions Strategy and Risk Management works as part of a team responsible for managing the Global Sanctions and Screening program across Scotiabank's global footprint. This position leads a team and is responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives and projects, regulatory, audit, or self-identified issues, regulatory, audit, and testing exam preparations and responses, and enhancements as defined by Global Sanctions executive management.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Global Sanctions Strategy and Change Management function.
  2. Develop and manage project plans for regulatory, audit, and self-identified issues.
  3. Develop strategic responses to enterprise-wide and local examinations.
  4. Provide updates and reporting to senior management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in governance and reporting, program management, and risk management in financial services.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
