Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Heritage Square, a beautiful assisted living and long-term care facility in Vernon, BC.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our residents, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans, as well as administering medications and supervising care staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications as prescribed
  • Supervise care staff to ensure resident needs are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
