Job Title: Director, Extended Benefits and Client Service Unit

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time

Location: Ministry of Health

Salary Range: $8,531 - $11,088 Monthly

Grade: MCP.09

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead the Extended Benefits and Client Service Unit as the Director. This is a leadership opportunity to develop and implement policies, drive innovation in service delivery, and provide operational leadership to address the evolving needs of our citizens and make a significant impact on the health care system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and programs to support the Extended Benefits and Client Service Unit
  • Lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Unit, driving excellence in achieving results
  • Oversee the development, implementation, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of provincial programs
  • Provide leadership and oversight to staff from diverse backgrounds, managing multiple priorities and possessing knowledge of change and project management
  • Identify and analyze emerging issues and prepare analysis, materials, and documents for decision-makers

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate degree in business or public administration, health economics, or a related field
  • Several years of senior experience in a comparable field
  • Experience leading staff from diverse backgrounds, managing multiple priorities, and possessing knowledge of change and project management
  • Senior-level experience in policy development, skills in identifying and maintaining partnerships, and a strong ability to recognize complex risks and issues and develop proactive strategies to address them
