FarmingUK is seeking a skilled and experienced Tractor Driver and Farmhand to join our busy Site Team at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and ensure all vehicles and equipment/tools are in good working condition and compliant with health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure animals' care and welfare at all times.
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks on all agricultural vehicles.
  • Maintain gates and fences on the farm grounds and animal enclosures.
  • Assist with various telehandler and tractor duties, including harvesting, hedge trimming, mowing, and other tasks as required.
  • Feed and provide fresh hay and straw to farm animals.
  • Ensure the physical wellbeing of all animals on the farm.
  • Adhere to regulations concerning birds and animals, and the movement of animals.
  • Keep accurate records of animal movements and health.
  • Support the Visitor Centre as an on-call tractor driver for tours.
  • Assist with maintenance work and upkeep of farm buildings.
  • Ensure the farm is kept clean, safe, and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a tractor driver and farmhand.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks.
