Position Overview:APEX Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine & Maintenance Lead Hand to join its Steel Door Manufacturing Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, programming, and maintenance of machinery within the group.
Key Responsibilities:- Setup, program, and operate machinery to ensure efficient production.
- Read and interpret technical information, including blueprints and internal process routing sheets.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and collaborate with technicians as needed.
- Develop, implement, and administer daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance procedures to ensure timely execution.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Identify areas for improvement and communicate effectively with the team.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Understand and execute oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
