Job Title: Tow Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at Edmonton Towing and Recovery Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tow truck to transport vehicles, equipment, and other heavy loads safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles, equipment, and other heavy loads
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and assist with vehicle recovery
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
Working Conditions:
