Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Tow Truck Driver to operate our fleet of vehicles and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • Mountain driving expertise
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and overtime required. The job requires handling heavy loads, physically demanding tasks, and repetitive tasks.
