MANNAT R TRANSPORT INC. is seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on a permanent basis.

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity to operate dump trucks in a dynamic environment, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS devices, or other navigation tools to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently and safely.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as required.
  • Transport and handle hazardous materials safely.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement are mandatory for this position.
  • Familiarity with dump truck operation and maintenance is an asset.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
