About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Policy Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, preparation, and delivery of prescriptions. You will also be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patient needs
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system
