About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team at Reliance Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and other computer software systems to create and edit designs.
  • Instruct apprentices in the art of cabinet finishing and woodworking.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, achieving a high level of quality and finish.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring a thorough understanding of the project requirements.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, reinforcing joints as needed.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, preparing and applying laminated plastics as required.
