Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

GTA VAPORIUM INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide guidance on food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
