Job Summary

This Audit Specialist role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of audit plans, with a focus on serving our Indigenous communities.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  2. Support the development of expertise in risk assessment, control evaluation, and testing methodologies, with a focus on operational excellence.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement audit programs, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives.
  4. Evaluate internal controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and effective implementation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CA, CIA) is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on operational excellence and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
