Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team of over 600 clinicians dedicated to a patient-first culture and superior clinical outcomes. As a Physical Therapist at AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and mobility.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families regarding treatment plans, progress, and discharge recommendations.
  • Educate patients and their families on the therapeutic process, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
  • Provide support and encouragement to patients to enhance their motivation and compliance with therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Physical Therapist at AdvantageCare Rehabilitation, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPT).
  • A valid State Physical Therapy License.
